Emperia is the real estate development arm of Manjeri Group, a multi-sector conglomerate with a presence across real estate, beverages, sports, hospitality, mining, broadcasting, and clothing.

The group's roots go back to Gujarat in the 1990s, where Savjibhai Manjeri built a deep understanding of land, trade, and development over two decades. In 2013, the family relocated to Mumbai, and what followed was a deliberate, disciplined expansion that turned a strong regional business into a group operating across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and beyond.

Today, Manjeri Group employs over 2,500 people, has delivered developments to 1,800+ satisfied customers, and has more than 1.2 crore square feet under development. Emperia sits at the heart of that story and remains the clearest expression of what the group stands for.

The Backbone

Before there was a group, there was Savjibhai Manjeri, and a Gujarat-based business built entirely on hard work, an instinctive understanding of land value, and a personality that made people trust him without needing to be convinced.

Through the 1990s and into the 2000s, Savjibhai owned and managed significant land assets across Gujarat. He wasn't just a businessman; he was a mentor, a builder, and someone who understood that real estate is ultimately about people. Strong, direct, and generous with his knowledge, he trained the people around him through hands-on guidance rather than instruction manuals.

In 2013, Savjibhai made a pivotal decision to relocate the family to Mumbai and scale everything he had built into something larger. That decision changed the group's trajectory entirely.

When the family arrived in Mumbai, Dhiraj was ready. He had grown up watching his father work, absorbing the discipline and judgment that only come from proximity to someone who has done it at a serious level. Under Savjibhai's direct mentorship, Dhiraj gradually took charge of operations, learning the Mumbai market, building relationships, and developing the commercial instincts that would eventually drive Emperia's expansion across the MMR.

The transition wasn't handed over; it was earned, step by step, on the ground.

From One Business To A Group of Seven.

Emperia came first. It was the vehicle through which Dhiraj entered the Mumbai real estate market, building, delivering, and establishing a name that buyers in Navi Mumbai and the MMR began to trust.
But the vision was always larger than real estate. As Emperia grew, so did the ambition. Manjeri Group was established to house the businesses that followed, each chosen because it made strategic sense at the time and because the group had the people and the discipline to execute them properly.

Residential and commercial developments across Maharashtra and Gujarat. The core business and the one that started it all.

Beverages

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage manufacturing and distribution.

Ground-level sports support, team ownership, and sponsorship of national championship teams across India.

A growing chain of 3-star to 5-star hotels, resorts, and F&B services.

Mining

Bentonite and China Clay mining operations in Gujarat.

Broadcasting

OTT and other broadcasting platforms in development.

Clothing

Manufacturing and retail of girls' clothing.

The Foundation Begins

Savjibhai Manjeri begins land acquisition and trade operations in Gujarat—the foundation of everything that follows.

Early 2000s

Birth Of Emperia

Emperia was established as the real estate development arm. First projects launched across Maharashtra.

2013

Expansion Into MMR

Savjibhai relocates the family to Mumbai. Dhiraj takes charge of operations under his mentorship. Expansion into the MMR begins.

2015 Onwards

Growth Across Regions

Projects delivered across Dronagiri, Rasayani, Panvel, and Gandhidham. 1,800+ customers served.

2018 Onwards

Manjeri Group Established

Diversification into Beverages, Sports, Hospitality, and Mining begins.

Building The Future

1.2+ crore sq ft under development. 20+ project locations. Ongoing projects across Turbhe, Ghatkopar, Upper Kharghar, and Dronagiri. Upcoming projects in Dombivali, Pushpak Nagar, and BKC.

Dhiraj Manjeri grew up watching the Manjeri Group being built and made a deliberate choice to take that foundation somewhere larger.

Trained directly under Savjibhai's mentorship, he entered the Mumbai real estate market in 2013 and gradually built Emperia into one of Navi Mumbai's recognised developer names. Under his leadership, the group has delivered projects to over 1,800 customers, grown to 2,500+ employees, and expanded into seven sectors beyond real estate.

His focus now is on completing the ongoing project pipeline across Turbhe, Ghatkopar, Upper Kharghar, and Dronagiri, while laying the groundwork for the group's entry into BKC, Dombivali, and Pushpak Nagar, and continuing to build Manjeri Group's presence in hospitality, sports, and broadcasting.

What drives him isn't the scale of what's been built. It's the quality of what's next. Scale of what's been built. It's the quality of what's next.

Partner & Director

Kinjal Manjeri holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Ahmedabad and carries the rare distinction of having cleared the Gujarat Public Service Commission, a background that shows in how she approaches the business.

She brings a disciplined, analytical approach to Emperia and Manjeri Group's day-to-day operations. Where others see complexity, she sees systems that need streamlining. Where there's ambiguity, she brings clarity. Actively involved across both entities, she serves as the internal anchor that keeps operations running with the consistency the group's buyers and partners have come to expect.

Her role isn't visible in the renders or the project launches. It's visible in how smoothly everything behind them runs.
